A must have for savvy, progressive ECE Center Directors

I read the first edition and I have had the priviledge of looking over the newest edition that is owned by a collegue of mine. This book is current and relevant to the field of child care. Bravo to the author for compiling such an important and informative reference!!!

Excellent book!

This book provides many great strategies for directors to use when it comes to mentoring and how to become a more effective leader. The importance of staff development is also discussed, which I believe is an extremely important element to include in all childcare programs. Training and Curriculum Productions is an excellent resource for staff training ideas. They have PowerPoint presentations, small group activities, and other resources to help save tons of time for those of us who teach these kinds of classes. I hope this helps somebody in planning for their next class. It definitely has helped me!

Exceptional ideas from Curtis and Carter!

I have had the pleasure of hearing Deb Curtis and Margie Carter speak. They are both dynamic women that really understand what early childhood needs to be. I am preparing a new website for my child care center and I am so thankful that I read this book before preparing the website. Wonderful ideas that really work in the early childhood setting.
